Visual Artists Listowel is proud to announce its highly anticipated inaugural group exhibition 'A Day at the Races'. The exhibition will be officially opened by former Minister Jimmy Deenihan on Saturday, 19th September at 10.30am. Coinciding with the vibrant energy of the historic Listowel Harvest festival season, this landmark showcase marks the official debut of the newly established local group 'Visual Artists Listowel'. The exhibition brings together a fresh, vibrant collective of local talent working across various mediums, including painting, photography and sculpture. Bound by the theme ' A Day at the Races' the featured artworks explore the profound cultural legacy, kinetic movement, elegance and community spirit that defines Listowel's historic racing tradition. Step inside a collection where local landscape, personal stories and contemporary visions come together. By scheduling the official launch for Saturday morning, the group aims to provide both residents and arriving festival visitors with a dynamic visual arts experience right in the heart of the heritage town of Listowel. Whether you're a lifelong art lover, a collector or simply looking for an inspiring morning out, come and celebrate the creativity, passion and dedication that defines Listowel's thriving artistic community.
